What is religion recovery coaching?Religion recovery coaching is health and wellness coaching with emphasis on recovery from religious harm. I work with my clients to help them gain understanding for what they went through and to support them as they take their lives back.

How do you provide your coaching services?I provide my coaching services via Zoom video calls.
-
What past religious affiliations do you work with?I work with people who have left many different religious affiliations. My personal religious experiences are with various forms of Christianity, but if you have had a harmful experience with religion the symptoms you are experiencing are likely similar to those I am familiar with. The symptoms of religious trauma are general across many different religious belief systems. You can schedule a free discovery call with me and we will be able to determine if a coaching relationship will be mutually beneficial. I belong to a network of professionals working with religious trauma so it is possible I can refer you to a colleague if we are not a good fit for each other. If you are looking for someone who specializes in a specific religion other than Christianity, you can also review the resources at daretodoubt.org.

How much do you charge?I offer a sliding scale for my coaching services. When I left the Jehovah's Witnesses I was nowhere near able to afford any type of coaching or therapy. I understand that many people who were raised in high controlling religious groups do not have careers or have been to college. This is why I offer my coaching on a case by case basis. Those who are able to pay more make it possible for those who need financial assistance to receive the support they need.
